WALKER, Ky. (WATE) – A Kentucky man has been arrested and charged with with shooting a man to death earlier this week in Knox County, Kentucky.
Kentucky State Police say Richard Wayne Brown, 46, of Flat Lick, confessed to shooting Shane Mills twice, resulting in his death. Mills, 30, was found dead inside his residence on Trace Branch Road around 9:28 p.m. Wednesday.
Kentucky’s State Medical Examiner’s Office is conducting an autopsy. State police are still working to determine what led up to the shooting and what the connection is between Brown and Mills.
