KNOXVILLE (WATE) – The Knoxville Fire Department is kicking off a summer-long series of “open houses” with Station No. 4 in East Knoxville.
The community is invited to learn CPR from firefighters, practice fire extinguishing techniques with a simulator, schedule smoke alarm installations, have a station tour and light refreshments. Firefighters will also check people’s blood pressures.
The Knoxville Fire Department says they hope to educate the public and be a good neighbor in the community. The event is Saturday, May 14, fro 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fire Station No. 4, 2300 Linden Avenue.
