KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) – Knoxville Police Department arrested six men in an undercover prostitution sting Friday night on Central Avenue.
The men were arrested after a female officer in plainclothes was approached by the men and offered money for sex.
Each of the six men was charged with patronizing prostitution.
They are identitified as:
- Abdulayee Karma, 29, of Knoxville.
- Michael White, 48, of Knoxville.
- David Dowd, 48, of Knoxville.
- Charles Fondren, 50, of Knoxville.
- Maurice Hurd, 23, of Knoxville.
- George Wilson, 39, of Clinton.
