Knoxville Symphony Orchestra to honor Summitt during Independence Day concert

Knoxville Symphony Orchestra celebrates diversity during _A Night With The Arts__44590

KNOXVILLE (WATE) – The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra will honor Coach Pat Summitt during its Independence Day concert Monday night.

The KSO Free Pilot Flying J Independence Day Concert will be at 8 p.m. at World’s Fair Park. The free event is a part of the city’s Knoxville’s Festival on the Fourth.

The orchestra will be playing “Rocky Top,” the “Star Spangled Banner,” “America the Beautiful” and “1812 Overture,” “Amazing Grace.” Director Aram Demirjian will be leading the orchestra.
