KNOXVILLE (WATE) – As Vols fans anxiously await the reveal of the University of Tennessee’s new athletic uniforms by Nike, Twitter photos of what the new uniforms could look like emerged on Twitter.Related:

Niki has not confirmed the pictures of the new uniforms are the same ones they are releasing, but that didn’t stop Vols for life from taking to Twitter to voice their excitement.

One of the changes the photos highlight is the checkerboard stripe on the pants. The grey jersey could more than likely be an alternative uniform. On the helmet a outline of the Smoky Mountains can be seen.

As for fan gear, The Vol Shop on campus said they are getting its shipment of the new Nike gear at midnight. The official announcement is not until noon. Once the announcement wraps up, the Vol Shop will open the new Nike merchandise.
