Two teenagers have been arrested in Sevier County in connection with threats made Wednesday at Seymour Junior High School.
Sheriff Ron Seals says the sheriff’s office was made aware of threats made toward other students and they began to investigate. Two boys, ages 14 and 15, were taken into custody and charged with harassment.
Both are being held in the Sevier County Juvenile Facility with a hearing set for a later date.
Seals says extra officers were placed at the school for precautionary measures.
