Blount County Sheriff’s Office says they’ve arrested and charged a 16-year-old William Blount High School student with delinquency by false report after he was was identified on video leaving threatening post-it notes on the columns outside the school.
The SRO received information about the student leaving the notes. The post-it notes referenced dates which coincided with the school’s spring break. No individuals were named on the notes.
This arrest comes just one day after a another 16-year-old boy at the school was arrested on the same charge after making threats about shooting up the school.
The boy is currently being housed at the Blount County Juvenile facility pending a detention release hearing within 72 hours.
