38 arrested in Sevier County drug roundup

The Sevier County Sheriff’s Office says 38 suspected drug dealers were arrested in an undercover operation dubbed “Just Say No-vember.”

The eight month operation resulted in 58 people being indicted for sale and delivery of various narcotics by a grand jury. The operation focused on heroin and other opioid related drugs like methamphetamine, but other illicit drugs were also targeted.

Officers with the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office, Sevierville Police Department, Pigeon Forge Police Department, Gatlinburg Police Department, Homeland Security, US Marshals Service, Tennessee Office of Inspector General and Tennessee Department of Corrections began arresting suspects at 5 a.m. Tuesday and continued all day.

Six vehicles and nearly $5,000 in cash were seized from the suspects. The following have been arrested so far:
