KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The University of Tennessee Police Department has received a generous and potentially live-saving donation.
Sixty tourniquets were donated by the nonprofit Sprit of the Blue Foundation.
They’ll help officers save the lives of anyone who may have a traumatic injury by helping stop bleeding until medical professionals are on the scene.
