The Greeneville Parks and Recreation Department is asking for the public’s help Monday after they say the baby Jesus was stolen from the city’s annual nativity scene.
Parks and rec officials saying the nativity scene is set up at Hardin Park. It’s the same one they’ve used for about 20 years for the “Christmas in the Park” event.
According to their Facebook post. the baby Jesus was stolen Sunday, December 16 between 8:30 and 9:45 p.m.
We’re told this same thing happened two years ago but they were able to recover the baby Jesus.
