Blount County jury indicts Alabama man on homicide, theft, other charges

A Blount County grand jury has indicted an Alabama man for the 2017 murder of a Blount County man, along with a rash of other charges for crimes allegedly committed in 2017 connected to the homicide. 

Timothy Ray Walker was originally accused of murdering Dennis A. Foltz, burying his body on Foltz’s property, and taking and selling Foltz’s personal belongings, including a Chevrolet pickup truck. He was also accused of using Foltz’s credit cards.

The jury indicted Walker of 22 counts total, including failing to register as a sex offender in the state of Tennessee. 

His trial date is not yet known.
