A man was arrested on felony drug charges after an investigation into possible drug activity out of a Maryville hotel room.
Authorities haven’t yet released which hotel, but they did say it was located along Highway 411.
Blount County Sheriff’s Office deputies and narcotics agents found 18 grams of methamphetamine and 16 grams for heroin in the hotel room of Raymond Gallagher.
Gallagher is also accused of conducting drug activity within a 1,000-foot radius of a child care facility.
He is due in Blount County General Sessions court Wednesday morning for a hearing.
