MORRISTOWN (WATE) – A 10-year-old boy was killed in a T-bone crash in Morristown.
The Morristown Police Department says a black 2010 Nissan Sentra driven by a 17-year-old girl was going westbound on Springvale Road at the intersection with Highway 160 and pulled into the path of a 2006 Toyota Tacoma driven by Zachary Williams, 26, of Jonesborough.
The truck hit the Sentra in the passenger door. A 10-year-old boy, who was riding in the Sentra, was killed. The driver was taken to UT Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Williams was taken to Morristown-Hamblen Hospital, also with non-life threatening injuries.
No charges have been filed at this time.
