Clinton High School student arrested after threatening notes found

A 15-year-old Clinton High School student was arrested Monday after notes threatening a school shooting were found in a classroom.

The Anderson County Sheriff’s Department says they, school resource officers and school officials identified a 15-year-old girl left the notes.

She will be charged with felony false reports and disorderly conduct. She is being held in the Richard L. Bean Juvenile Detention Center in Knoxville pending a hearing.
