The US Drug Enforcement Administration confirms a drug bust happened in South Knoxville Thursday.

Several Knoxville police cars and DEA undercover officers were seen going in and out of a home on Coffey Street.

A WATE crew at the scene witnessed three people being handcuffed by law enforcement. A drug-sniffing dog was utilized in the search.

Due to it being an ongoing investigation, the DEA will not provide further information at this time.

WATE talked to two neighbors on the street, both say the house being investigated has frequent traffic each night. They claim cars are constantly speeding down the street and people are seen coming and going. Both neighbors say their safety is of concern.
