Deputies search for man who robbed South Knox County dollar store

Deputies are asking for help to find a man they say robbed a South Knox County dollar store on Friday afternoon.

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office says they suspect Randy Woody, 50, robbed Dollar General, 3130 Circle Oak Drive, around 4 p.m. Friday with a handgun.

He is described as a white male around 5-feet-9 and around 160 pounds. He has hazel eyes and brown hair. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black zip-up hoodie, gray or beige-toned pants, and sunglasses.

Deputies believe he drives a blue 1991 Buick LeSabre with Tennessee license plate Y88-91X.
