Six people were home when a fire broke out at a home in Seymour, causing it to collapse.
One firefighter was injured, but he is still working at the scene, helping to put out the flames.
The Seymour Fire Department says the fire broke out just after 3 p.m. on Dinkins Road. Crews say the fire started in the attic.
Two adults and four children were home at the time, but there are no reports of injuries to any of them.
Crews say the heat is challenging and it’s hard to get water to the house.
WATE 6 On Your Side has a crew on the scene working to get more details.
