Fire hydrant testing may discolor water, says Morristown Fire Department

MORRISTOWN, Tenn. (WATE) — Monday, the Morristown Fire Department began testing fire hydrants, and the city says the tests may leave your water temporarily discolored.

However, despite the color, there are no harmful effects from the water, the department says. Fire hydrant testing is expected to continue for the next four weeks.
