First responders work storage building fire

Multiple units from multiple agencies responded to a structure fire in the 8700 block of Ruggles Ferry Pike late Friday night.

Rural Metro Fire, Knox County Sheriff’s Office and AMR ambulance were working the scene of storage building fire as of 10:25 p.m.

The call initially came in as a possible house fire at 9:30 p.m. 

When units arrived, they found the storage building adjacent to a house fully involved.

KCSO posting to its Facebook page that there have been no reported injuries from the fire. 

“Rural Metro Fire – Knox County did an excellent job of getting the fire under control and containing to the single structure,” KCSO stated in its post.
