KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) – Former Senator Bob Corker held a town hall discussion in Knoxville Thursday.

Corker, who finished his final term in the Senate last year after more than a decade on Capitol Hill, will speak at the Howard H. Baker Center for Public Policy on the University of Tennessee campus.

“We are very excited about the upcoming visit by Senator Corker,” said Matt Murray, director of the Baker Center. “This will be a tremendous opportunity to hear remarks from a great American statesman in a period of political volatility.”

The event happened Thursday, April 25 at 4:30 p.m. at 1640 Cumberland Avenue. The event was open to the public.
