KNOXVILLE (WATE) – Food City announced Thursday it is partnering with INSTACART to offer a delivery service.

Shoppers will be able to order groceries online and have them delivered to their door. The delivery fee will be based on the number of groceries.

Food City through Instacart offers delivery with a $9.99 delivery fee for orders less than $35, a $5.99 fee for orders more than $35.

Food City offers shoppers a free first time delivery when they enter the code HELLOKNOXVILLE plus $20 off their first order of $35 or more.

Kroger is another store offering a similar service with its curbside pickup. There is a $4.95 curbside free but it is waived for the first three orders.

Both offer same day services.

Not all Food City and Kroger locations are participating in the services. To find out what stores are involved you can go to the Food City or Kroger websites.
