One of the stars of HBO’s iconic series ‘Game of Thrones’ is scheduled to appear in East Tennessee this year.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau will make an appearance at Knoxville’s Bubba Fest in August. He plays Jaime Lannister in Game of Thrones. You’ll have the opportunity to meet him and even get autographs.

Bubba Fest will be August 23-25 at the Knoxville Convention Center. One-day tickets start at $ 39.

According to the event website, Coster-Waldau will appear all three days.

Game of Thrones debuted on HBO in April of 2011. The show is an adaption of American author George R.R. Martin’s ‘Song of Ice and Fire’ fantasy novel series, which chronicles the struggle for supremacy between the noble families of Westeros.

The series has received a record 47 Primetime Emmy Awards, including being named Outstanding Drama Series in 2015, 2016 and 2018.
