Knox County Sheriff’s Office says officers are still searching for a suspect following a shooting that happened just after 9 p.m. Monday in Karns, emphasizing “this was not a random incident.”
The Alcoa Police Department and Blount County Sheriff’s Office located an early 2000s model Infiniti G35 thought to be involved in the crime early Tuesday at an apartment complex in Blount County.
Knox County Sheriff’s Office announced the finding of the car early Tuesday on their Facebook while saying the suspect is still at large,
According to KCSO, officers were dispatched for a report of shots fired on Sweeping Rain Lane in Karns, at 9:08 p.m.
No injuries from the shooting were reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
