Kentucky man charged in Campbell County arson

A Kentucky man was arrested and charged with arson after a fire in an outbuilding in Jellico in March.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Randy Joe Jones, 34, intentionally set an outbuilding on fire in the 300 block of Shady Lane in Jellico on March 24. An investigation led police to Jones, a Kentucky resident, and he was arrested in Kentucky. 

Jones is charged with one count of arson. He is being held in Williamsburg, Kentucky in the Whitley County Detention Center while he awaits extradition to Tennessee.
