The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect they say robbed a check cashing business Saturday.
Deputies say the suspect robbed Check Into Cash, 6724 Maynardville Pike, around noon that day. He had a handgun and demanded money from the employee.
The suspect left, according to deputies, in a four-door mid-1990s mint green Mazda Protege going toward Union County.
He is described as a white man around 5 feet 6 to 5 feet 8, 180-200 pounds, 30-40 years old and with a thin build. He was carrying a black and silver handgun.
