Knox deputies search for pedestrian hit-and-run suspect

KNOXVILLE (WATE) – The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a driver who hit a pedestrian in North Knox County and drove off.

Deputies say a man was walking northbound on the northbound side of Norris Freeway at Archibald Way just before 2 p.m. when a silver four-door vehicle going northbound hit the man and kept driving.

The pedestrian was sent to UT Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. His condition has not been released.
