The Knoxville Civic Auditorium and Coliseum issued an apology on Facebook after people attending a Tyler Perry performance Wednesday night said they had to wait for as much as half an hour in the rain.
Officials said there were technical issues that kept the show from opening on time and they had to keep the entry doors closed.
“We know also that it was not ideal weather conditions and understand your frustrations. This is certainly not the experience we wish for our attendees, our most humble apologies,” they wrote in a Facebook message.
People attending the show took to social media to complain about waiting in the rain to see the show.
