Knoxville man charged with felonies after inappropriate contact with 14-year-old

The Knoxville Police Department have arrested a man on multiple felonies after agreeing to engage in sexual acts with a 14-year-old, sending nude photos of himself and requesting she send nude photos to him.

Jason Allen Raley, 40, is charged with aggravated statutory rape, solicitation of a minor and exploitation o a minor by electronic means. The charges come after an investigation by KPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. 

Raley was taken into custody without incident by ICAC investigators and officers with the KPD Violence Reduction Team. 

He is being held in the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility on a $40,000 bond with a condition of no contact with minors.
