To family and friends, Bianca Blair is known as just that. But, inside the ring she has another name: Bianca Belair.

“She is the strongest, she’s the toughest, she’s the roughest, she’s quickest, she’s fastest, she’s the greatest, she’s the best. All those things end in EST. That’s exactly what I am. I am the EST of NXT, when I step in the ring that’s exactly what I show every single time.” said Blair.

Blair was born and raised in Knoxville. She’s a graduate of Austin-East Magnet High School and the University of Tennessee.

She’s back in Knoxville for one night, this time, as a professional wrestler.

“I’ve been an athlete my whole life. I am used to competing and competing in front of an audience and a crowd. This is a bit different, I’m doing something they’ve never seen me do before.” said Blair.

Blair entered the arena with her signature long braided locks. Dressed in Rocky Top Orange, a crowd favorite and hometown hero returning.

“It sounded good. Hopefully, that’ll get bigger. She’s working hard and I think it’s gonna come by pretty soon.” said Leonard Blair, Bianca’s father.

Blair says her family rarely gets to see her perform live, so the NXT Live event in Knoxville was a treat.

“I’m just so happy for her. Really happy.” said Travonda Blair, Bianca’s mother.

Blair admits, at first, her parents were hesitant when she decided to become a WWE wrestler, but now, her parents are supportive and learning more about the sport she loves.

“Every time I step in that ring, I want to show that I’m the best that stepped in that ring. I want to leave a lasting impression on every single person there.” said Blair.

NXT is part of WWE. WWE will return to Knoxville on April 2nd.
