Knoxville police have released the identity of a woman involved in a fatal hit-and-run Monday.
The Knoxville Police Department confirmed Debbie Burgess, 52, was killed in a fatal hit-and-run on the 3600 block of the Pleasant Ridge Road on Monday.
KPD responded to the scene of the accident around 3:45 a.m. Monday. Police on the scene said Burgess was hit by a vehicle just outside of Custom Foods of America.
Officers are looking for a late 90s or early 2000s full-size pickup truck, possibly a Dodge, with front end damage and a male driver.
