Knoxville police seeking sex offender after two probation violations

Knoxville police are searching for a convicted sex offender after two violations of probations which occurred shortly after he was charged with invasion of privacy stemming from an incident at a North Knoxville gym. 

James Bradley Josey III, 28, has been charged with invasion of privacy after he was allegedly peeping a woman while she showered at a North Broadway Planet Fitness on January 16 around 4 a.m.

The suspect fled the area, but Knox County Sheriff’s Office investigators were able to identify Josey from a picture captured on the victim’s cell phone and from the security cameras. He was also identified by his probation officer. 

After his release, two violations of probation warrants were issued for Josey’s arrest. According to KPD, he is homeless and known to frequent the Cherry Street and North Broadway area, particularly around the Planet Fitness.

He stands 5’7″ tall, weighs approximately 140 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes.
