A Powerball player in Knoxville has a lot to celebrate today after winning $100,000 Saturday night.

It was a little more than the player expected, since the base price for that prize level was $50,000. However, since the Knoxville player added the Power Play option for an extra dollar, the prize was multiplied by Saturday night’s multiplier, which was two.

Meanwhile, the jackpot for the Mega Million game has risen to nearly half a billion dollars, and sits at $493 million for Tuesday night.

The Knoxville winner of the $100,000 has not yet come forward to claim their prize.

The winning numbers were 9, 23, 56, 58, 68, 1.
