Loudon County teen credited with saving life, honored by sheriff’s dept.

Local News

A teen from Loudon County is being hailed a hero Friday after saving a life.

13-year-old Bryson Watkins received a message last week that a young man was in need of help. The teen quickly ran to a nearby off-duty deputy’s house and worked together with law enforcement to help.

Sheriff Tim Guider presented the Sheriff’s Citizen Life-Saving award to Watkins.

Loudon County Sheriff’s Department shared these pictures on their Facebook Thursday night. In their post, they said in part, “Bryson, from all of us at LCSO, we are proud of you.”
