A man has been arrested in Union County, accused of shooting a man in the face early Saturday morning.
Matthew Logan Grimm, 19, is charged with attempted second degree murder and is being held on $200,000 bond.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office says around 4 a.m. Saturday, they received a report of a shooting on Jerry Hollow Road. The victim had been shot in the face and was trying to drive himself to the hospital when paramedics found him.
The victim was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators learned Grimm was the suspect and took him into custody.
