A corner of the old Knox County Courthouse is now dedicated to inspiration. Local artwork dons the walls of the new Inspiration Room, a public space for community members and employees alike.
In honor of Valentine’s Day, a young couple tied the knot right in front of a beautiful new skyline of the city of Knoxville.
“You can be inspired to come in and read. You can be inspired to come in and get married. You can be inspired to look at this beautiful artwork that local artists have provided. We’re just really excited about it,” said Knox County Clerk Sherry Witt.
The inspiration room was officially dedicated Thursday morning in honor of memorable Knox County public servant Mary Lou Horner.
