A multi-state investigation has resulted in the discovery of equipment to commit fraud and thousands of dollars in merchandise at a North Knoxville apartment.

Uver Alexander Valera, 29 of Sarasota; Elver Perez Suarez, 36 of Louisville, Kentucky; and Renier Ramirez Rodriquez, 30 of Louisville, Kentucky have been charged with multiple counts of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, Identity Theft, Theft Under $1000, and Criminal Conspiracy by Bristol police.

Following a multi-state involving several agencies, Knox County Sheriff’s Office Property Crimes Detectives were able to obtain and execute a search warrant on an apartment in North Knoxville. This followed a February 6 traffic stop of three suspects in the investigation.

In the apartment, detectives were able to recover eight gas pump skimmers, several laptops, a magnetic credit card reader/writer, tablets, electronic storage devices, several re-coded credit cards and $17,680.00 in cash.

The investigation is ongoing according to a Facebook post by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.
