North Broadway Market to relocate after temporary closure

Local News

A North Knoxville business is facing an unexpected relocation after they say they abruptly lost their lease.

Broadway Market said Thursday on their Facebook page they have lost their lease at 1322 North Broadway and now must relocate.

The North Broadway business is located right around the corner from the WATE studio and is known for their, fresh seafood and meats.

Not only is it a popular spot for a poke bowl, they sell sushi grade salmon, yellowfin tuna, oysters and other products to customers wholesale.

“Thanks to All our Customers for the support we’ve received over the last two years!! We plan to relocate and reopen but it takes time and money we weren’t prepared to spend. We would appreciate any help in getting us back to work bringing Don’s food to Knoxville !!!” the business wrote on Facebook.

They plan to relocate but no word on where that new location may be. A GoFundMe has been set up to offset the unexpected moving costs.

The crowdfunding page says their new space will be larger and they hope to raise the funds and open in 30-60 days.
