Police are investigating after a shooting Wednesday evening in North Knoxville.
Knoxville police officers were called to E. Springdale Avenue near W. Glenwood Avenue just before 6:30 p.m. for a victim who appeared to be suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to the hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
No other information has been released.
