Police investigating after body found in Knox County, Ky. creek

Kentucky State Police are investigating after a body was found in a small creek in Knox County, Kentucky.

Police say a family member found the body of 48-year-old Steven Vance Mills in a creek about 40 yards from his home on Monday evening.

The cause of his death is unknown and detectives are collecting evidence at the scene. Mills’ body was sent to Frankfort, where an autopsy found no trauma to the body. Officials are now awaiting toxicology reports and investigating his medical history.

The case is being treated as a death investigation.
