WARTBURG, Tenn. (WATE) – The Morgan County E-911 center says power has been restored after a widespread outage due to an issue with TVA.

Officials said a majority of customers did not have power around 3:30 p.m. It took nearly two hours to get the power back on.

TVA says it had a line down in the area that is affecting Plateau Electric Board and Clinton Utility Board. They don’t yet know what caused the outage.

No other information has been released.
