Remote Area Medical accepting supply donations for Florence victims

Remote Area Medical is collecting supplies to support communities in North and South Carolina affected by Florence.

A recent report from Moody Analytics estimates the storm caused more than $17 billion in damages. Over 30 people have died and thousands upon thousands have been affected.

RAM is accepting drop-off donations of basic living supplies at 2200 Stock Creek Boulevard in Rockford. The items will then be taken to the Carolinas and RAM volunteers will distribute them to those in need.

Monetary donations are also be accepted online or by texting RAMRELIEF to 50155.

RAM is currently accepting the following supplies:

  • Baby Diapers
  • Baby Wipes
  • Adult Diapers
  • Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body Soap/Wash
  • Feminine Hygiene Products
  • Mops & Brooms
  • Sponges
  • Bleach
  • Dog & Cat Food
  • Flip Flops
