Rural Metro responding to a structure fire on Atkins Rd. on Saturday morning.
Around 8:56 a.m. Rural Metro arrived to what they believed was a house fire at 6201 Atkins Rd, but it turned out to be a detached garage behind the house.
The owners reported that they believed there were some “squatters” living in the structure.
No one was inside the garage at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.
The garage is a total loss, and Rural Metro is still investigating the cause of the fire.
