This week we’re celebrating National Telecommunicators Week.
For National Telecommunicators Week, it’s a time to recognize the people keeping us safe. Those who work in public safety aren’t just officers on the streets, but also those who answer our calls and who are repsonsible for getting help sent our way when needed.
Several telecommunicators were recognized in a ceremony Monday for their work helping to save lives.
Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs and Knoxville Mayor Madeline Rogero were in attendance.
Another big thanks to these public safety telecommunicators for all they do.
