Young-Williams Animal Center is celebrated its 12th annual Mardi Growl Parade and Festival on Saturday and we have some scenes from the event, which attracted thousands along the parade route from the Old City to downtown Knoxville.

Mardi Growl raises awareness for the efforts of Young-Williams Animal Center and support for Knoxville’s pet-friendliest community.

It is Young-Williams Animal Center’s largest annual fundraiser. Young-Williams provides services for nearly 10,000 animals.

Mardi Growl, which has been “Best Non-Profit fundraiser,” ended with a party at Market Square and Krutch Park and had more than 60 vendors.
