Semi-truck carrying baked beans crashes in Greene County

Talk about spilling the beans.

A tractor-trailer tipped over in Greene County along Newport Highway, spilling out its cargo of numerous Bush’s baked beans cans.

The driver had made it out to the top of the truck by the time emergency crews arrived. They were able to use a ladder to get him to safety.

According to a Tennessee Highway Patrol report, The driver was going around a curve when he ran off the road and hit a tree. 

He was cited with a warning for failure to maintain his lane.
