KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) – Students at a Knox County elementary school took to the streets to honor those whose lives have been impacted by cancer.

Sequoyah Elementary School hosted its 21st annual Fun Walk Against Cancer on Thursday. The walk is a chance to honor teachers and former students who have battled cancer.

Thursday’s walk honored a staff member whose cancer is in remission, office manager Celia McCullough.

Her advice to others fighting cancer is not to give up.
