After a raccoon caused a power outage earlier this year, a snake slithered in to a Knoxville power station and caused a few thousand to lose power Monday morning.
Knoxville Utility Board said over 4,200 lost power at the peak of the outage that occurred after a snake entered a substation on Westland Drive and tripped the breakers.
KUB says they are still working to restore power to over a thousand customers and two thousand are still without power throughout the system.
