Local special needs students had a “Night To Shine” on Friday night, getting a fun and unforgettable prom night experience.
Everything started with a walk down the red carpet at Black Oaks Heights Baptist Church, in partnership with the Tim Tebow Foundation.
After the red carpet entrances, students hit the dance floor.
“We let them dance and have a good time and just let them know for one night they are special and all nights, that they’re special and that we love them and that they’re made in the image of God,” said senior pastor, Todd Stinnett.
Night To Shine is a nationwide effort, with 700 churches across all 50 states participating; it’s also an international event, taking place in 20 countries around the world.
