Suspect, victim in deadly South Knoxville shooting identified

Knoxville Police have identified the suspect and victim in Tuesday’s shooting in South Knoxville. 

The Knoxville Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect wanted in connection to a shooting that occurred on Cook Drive in Montgomery Village.

Joseph Lewis, 20, is wanted for the shooting death of 33-year-old Terrance Campbell. A Second Degree Murder warrant has been issued for Lewis’ arrest.

Campbell was shot after being involved in an argument with Lewis. After being shot, Campbell fled on foot from Lewis until he collapsed behind an apartment on Daylily Drive. Campbell later died at UT Medical Center.
