Suspicious vehicle leads to Dandridge drug bust

What started as a call out to a suspicious vehicle ended in a drug, money and vehicle seizure over the weekend at Jefferson County hotel. 

Dandridge police received reports of a suspicious vehicle at the Red Roof Inn. Dandridge police said a suspect in one of the cars attempted to flee when they arrived.

Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene and got the four suspects out of the two cars.

K-9 officer “Hekko” was sent in during the investigation. The search revealed over an ounce of crystal meth, four grams of heroin packaged for resale almost two grams of crack cocaine, numerous pills, scales and over a thousand dollars in cash. 

Officers also seized one of the vehicles. Jason and Jennifer Finley were both arrested at the scene an additional female was also cited and later released.
